Phuture: Welcome aboard Phuture Collective, QUIET BISON!! What did you have for breakfast today :)?
QUIET BISON: I woke up late so I just had lunch, but I had a wrap

Phuture: We fell in love with this track several months ago during one of our first feedback streams. The reaction it received from everyone helped us in our decision in knowing this track is perfect for Phuture!
QUIET BISON: I loved how much people enjoyed it, it gave me a creative boost to know that I’m doing something right.

Phuture: Tell the world a bit about yourself for those unaware! (How long have you been producing, where are you based out of, and why do you make music?)
QUIET BISON: I’m from California originally, and I’ve been producing for around 3 years now. I started because I got a launchpad for christmas and I got Ableton Lite in it, I started messing around in it not knowing what an EQ was and I was just making super basic stuff… I may still not know what an EQ is. ________________________________________________________________
Phuture: If your music was any animal, what animal would it be?
QUIET BISON: It’s in my name.

Phuture: Tell us about working with DUAN & Julia Lostrom!
QUIET BISON: I met Duan about a year ago and loved his music. I heard the vocals on Bloom and loved it so I wanted to do something and put my own twist on it. So Duan sent me the stems and I started coming up with some basic ideas until I made what you hear.

Phuture: What are your goals for the next 6 months? What about the next two years?
QUIET BISON: Never really thought about it. I’m just going to keep trying to make something new and fresh, and hopefully it will be interesting.

Phuture: How long have you lived in Portland? What do you love about it? What do you dislike?
QUIET BISON: About 12 years. I love the vibe it has, everyone has their own look. Traffic is pretty bad though.

Phuture: Name 3-5 artists who are going to take over 2018!
QUIET BISON: I definitely see William. ensu, Rad Hatter, Malvae and Capshun going places.

QUIET BISON: Got some stuff I’m working on so keep an eye out.
