CLIN is the real VIP

CLIN is back with a special tune for us. He released with us back in issue seven with “Abscission” which is a mind blowing tune. We welcome him back with his new version of “Seditinmyah.” His previous version is a fun tune to listen to https://soundcloud.com/clinsane/seditinmyah-1 and his new version just lights a new fire that was hidden within this wonky tune! So enough introduction, let’s get this started!

Phuture: Welcome back for a fourth release! We are happy to have you here. So Seditinmyah originally is a super experimental track, full of wonky vibes and bass. What made you want to remix it?

CLIN: Honestly just the potential it had to be pushed a little further I guess.  I felt like it was a lot less crowded than my other tracks which allowed me to do fun stuff with it without it going too far.

Phuture: What can we expect from you this year? Do you have any plans to release any new music, sample packs, etc?

CLIN: I haven’t thought about putting a sample pack together.  That sounds like a good idea so yeah, that for sure.  I also definitely want to devote more time into music to be able to get more done over a period of a couple months.  Recently it’s been rare that i sit down for a couple hours at a time and work on music alone.

Phuture: If you were to go anywhere in the world to live, where would you go and why?

CLIN: Anywhere near Yosemite Valley would be amazing

_____________________________________________

Phuture: Who is your biggest influence for your sound?

CLIN: Definitely Mr. Carmack, Great Dane, and Diversa, as they have been the three most influential producers in my music production.

Phuture: While we’re on the subject, who were some of your favorite musicians growing up? What would you say that you learned about music by listening to these artists?

CLIN: There are so many its hard to think of them all.

Lots of the Phuture crew- Rohaan, RVKIT, Noer the Boy, DIVERSA, Zane Schaffer

Lots of the Lost Dogz crew- Milano, untitld, Chrome Republic, Eazybaked, sktchy ppl

And of course obviously the big guys, Bleep Bloop, Tsuruda , G Jones

Phuture: What is your goal for this year?

CLIN: Release a bunch of new music (:

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Phuture: Let’s say you have to create a soundtrack for a movie, what kind of movie would it be/Which movie?

CLIN: Probably some sort of horror/creepy movie, maybe an older style one

Phuture: If you had to pick a different genre to make music, which would it be?

CLIN: Probably producing chiller, more lo fi style beats.  Songs you listen to while napping
