Phuture: Paul Point!!! So great to finally get you on board Phuture. You’ve been an active member of our community for over a year now, and we’ve had the pleasure to hear your musical growth first hand. Let’s jump right in – what have you been upto this week & what did you have for breakfast?.

Paul Point: This week just been going to the gym, chilling, and working on music haha. Also started two collabs which I’m really excited about. And breakfast nothing because I slept most the day away.

Phuture: Let’s take a stroll through the creation of ‘Cry’. Tell us what inspirations were behind this track & any intentions you have or had with it.

Paul Point: So cry it was basically based off of several tracks really. First one came off of medasin track which I’m a big fan of so I based off of him and also kind of Went around the same idea as my last track anything. It was fun to make and every time I would get something down I would go back and look at the banner of phuture seeing if it would fit the art. My intentions were basically for the track to be unique and based off a style I kinda created or sound I created.

Phuture: If your music was a fruit, what fruit would it be?

Paul Point: I think if my music was a fruit it would be an orange haha because every time you would bite into orange it would be sweet and make you happy. So Every time you would click on my track it would be sweet and happy.

Phuture: Tell us about 2017 – how has it been for you in general? What labels did you release on & what collaborations were you a part of?

Paul Point: I’ve actually grew a lot faster then what I thought I would. I’ve released on many labels mostly labels such as Andromeda, tyde, and expose edm and now phuture which I’m super excited about. I mostly collabed with my good friend Nick or lizdek who actually helped me find phuture and connect with the community. Also he helped me get Paul point started and I really appreciate him and he’s a great person.

Phuture: ‘The Underground’ is emerging! Mind taking a moment to go over your intentions & goals behind the creation of this new label & brand?

Paul Point: My attentions of this new brand is to bring out the underground community which isn’t notice enough and help other communities discover music they never heard before and get those with potential out there basically like phuture but on YouTube and soon we will do releases on soundcloud, but atm we’re focused on YouTube.

Phuture: You are known in our community for being in the most discord servers out of anyone. How has that helped your networking? How about your music?

Paul Point: It’s really about connecting I love to meet new people and getting to know new people. It’s helped me a lot because I discover new music and I love to hear new music and also help those with potential. It’s helped a lot with my music as well because it gets it out there more people notice it because of the active discords. That’s also how I found Michael and connecting with Michael has helped a lot.
