Phuture: william full stop!! So glad to have you back on Phuture – especially for THIS issue!
It was so great getting to meet you in real life a few months back for our show w/ AZTEK & Zero Tep (alongside a seriously stacked lineup). What happened that night will never be news to the public so let’s just skip past this story and talk about you.
What did you have for breakfast this morning? Did it contain Vegemite?
william. : No Vegemite this morning, just ate some muesli and yoghurt.

Phuture: So, champion – let’s talk about ‘Three Quarter Pants’. Where from down under did you think of this name?! What inspired this sound design and structure? It hits so hard!
william. : I thought about how dumb three quarter pants are. Writing this i wanted to write something that bopped but was still super textured.

Phuture: It’s been 2-3 months since your Telekinesis EP which was such a mind blowing piece of work. It appears it’s been recepted quite well so far – so does this mean you’ll be working on another EP or perhaps a full length album anytime soon?
william. One big hell yeah in the chat.

Phuture: What was one of the weirdest thing about visiting the United States? Did anything shock you? Typically we find that Australians are freaked out by our ‘giant’ grocery stores and larger than life soda sizes.
william. : Yeah your portion sizes are wack, how do you ingest foods of that size lmao.

Phuture: How do you feel about the future of our planet? What should we do to extend our stay here?
william.: I’m real bad with shit like this, just got to look after the planet.

Phuture: If you could have any superpower what would it be?
william. : Telekinesis.

Phuture: When is the last time you put a shrimp on the barbie? Okay okay okay, we’ve all got our favorite ‘sayings’ that Austrailians say, or even those from other countries… But what are some of your favorite saying that Americans are known for ;)?
william. : Is “full send” American? because i rate that.
