octn has been digging to find his niche and has struck GOLD. He has a close family with midi보이즈 & éclat sound who have been giving full support throughout the journey. Question: What was the first track you heard today?
Answer: jumpoff by wntr.

Question: Summing up 2015, in a musical nutshell what did music do for you and where did it take you?
Answer: in 2015 i listened to so much music and really started researching how to make music of my own. Music was really something i did most of the time, whether it was listening to stuff on the bus or making beats when i was supposed to study.

Question: Let us step in your shoes for a day. What’s for breakfast, whats your daily routine, and when is music involved?
Answer: I usually wake up around 7 am on a normal weekday. I whip up a sandwich from what i have in the fridge, down a coffee and head to school. After school i’ll get my homework out of the way so i can relax and make beats for the rest of the day.
Music is involved alot. I’m always with my earbuds on wherever i go and i always attempt to make atleast one beat a day.

Question: We are giving you a hot air balloon filled with $50,000 you MUST spend to travel the world for 324 hours. What do you choose to do and where to you go?
Answer: Definitely go to the States to see all my producer friends. Maybe catch a few shows and visit some beautiful places.

Question: Any projects coming up that we should know of?
Answer: Well right now i’m working on a few things, mainly a track for the MIDI 2.0 tape that is releasing next month, a couple collabs and of course some fun beats for my own page 🙂

Question:What are your goals, musically, for 2016?
Answer: To improve daily, make friends doing this stuff and just have fun. I always try to learn something new when it comes to music every day.

Question: How do you make money if you do?
Answer: Right now i don’t, but in the summers i work wherever i can.

Question for phuture (artist) : Like everyone that follows phuture knows, you love music. ALOT. How did you really fall in love with this scene? And who are your favourite artists right now?
Answer: We fell in love once we got that first message from someone saying our music inspired them. As an artist, synchronistic, it is so hard to do what you guys do! I wasn’t personally getting any success or progress , so phuture was born to showcase music that innovates and inspires. here we are, and here we go 🙂

Question: When was the moment you decided that producing was right for you?
Answer: When my IRL friend Eetu (enlx on soundcloud) sent me a random beat he had made with FL and i thought to myself “Hey, i wanna make something like that too!” After that i downloaded FL, made a beat and it felt absolutely incredible to make something. I listened to it on loop and thought to myself: “I made that.” Thats when i really knew this was right.
