Riding waves with chromonicci

chromonicci has been putting in work throughout all of 2016. So much work that we know 2017 is going to be other worldly for him, as well as anyone else who is willing to put in countless hours to better themselves while working towards a goal.

You’ll be hearing from him much more in the future but in the present moment he joins phuture collective with his first release ‘waves‘ as part of issue seven | SUNSET.  Be sure to listen as you scroll down to read our exclusive interview with him!

Interview curated by Michael of the phuture collective staff.

Phuture: Welcome aboard phuture collective chromonicci! So glad to have you here. Please tell the readers and listeners a bit about yourself before we get to the juice :).

chromonicci: I’m a just dude named Christian that makes random, cool music, and loves to laugh.

Phuture:  Who are your top 3-5 inspirations, musically?

chromonicci: Ohhhhh I like this question lol. Um for me Mo Vibez, Herzeloyde, Montell2099, WhereisAlex, and SKITTLES DUDE. Those things get my creative juices flowing.

Phuture: What motivates you?

chromonicci: Besides my family, I honestly love to see people feel hype and smile when listening to my music. Like when I’m in a rut, and I think how people could possibly react, I’m able to find myself in the music so much easier.

Phuture: On a typical day – what beverages can you be found consuming?

chromonicci: Apple Juice: My Main, Chocolate Milk: Sidechick.

Phuture: What was your favorite album/ release of 2016?

chromonicci: I’m a sucker for singles, and Mo Vibez put out a track called “Keep it One Step a Day”. Probably bumped it for like 3 days straight.

Phuture: Why do you make music?

chromonicci: For me it’s a real emotional/cathartic release. As I’ve progressed, I’ve become better at conveying those feelings. Also, It really makes me happy.

Phuture:  Who’s changing the game and who needs more recognition?

chromonicci: Honestly, I stumbled onto Myles Jaeger, he’s this young dude who is amazingly talented and deserves WAY more attention than he is currently receiving.
