Question: What was the first track you heard today?
Answer: It was too damn early to remember.

Question: Summing up 2015, in a musical nutshell what did music do for you and where did it take you?
Answer: Since I started producing in 2015, last year definitely opened my eyes to a whole new side to music. I discovered how talented and amazing the underground music scene is on soundcloud. I’ve made some new friends, found a great outlet to express myself, and found great new artists and songs. I’ve learned a lot and can’t wait to release more stuff!

Question: Let us step in your shoes for a day. What’s for breakfast, whats your daily routine, and when is music involved?
Answer: For breakfast I either make some tasty eggs or eat shitty dorm food. After that I have class most of the day and then hang out with my friends and girlfriend later in the day. Music is involved throughout the day. Listening to music on my way to classes, and working on music during random free time.

Question: We are giving you a hot air balloon filled with $50,000 you MUST spend to travel the world for 324 hours. What do you choose to do and where to you go?
Answer: Definitely Japan. I’d buy every Nujabes vinyl I could get my hands on, eat legit ramen and do other cool shit. Always wanted to visit Asia.

Question: Any projects coming up that we should know of?
Answer: Actually I’m getting a collective started with some friends where we’re hoping to release ep’s, singles, and other stuff. If anyone’s interested, I’ll have it linked on my soundcloud! I also started a second account where I’ll be releasing trap type beats called “saros”.

Question: What are your goals, musically, for 2016?
Answer: My goals are to just keep improving and cooking up some fire beats.

Question: Let’s flip the tables. You ask us a question and we’ll premiere the answer when your track gets posted. Go!
Question for phuture (artist) : For synchronistic… after your experience with phuture, which artist that you’ve met through the collective has had the biggest influence on you? Either personally or musically
Answer (from synchronistic) : to be honest, that is tough. collectively, everyone. from a message from a stranger thanking us for what we do, to the tighest members of the family that have been there since our first upload… like TriLLwaX , samwise , St. Clement… just to name a few. to continue with our honesty here, if we had to pick one or two artists… pail & jamie blake. when pail messaged us, he had not uploaded music in months publicly… and we enjoyed his style & got to talking more. as we informed him that his stuff is really good, he started uploading it… and started to get the inspiration & love deserved. Now he’s working on a project that’s bigger & better & we’re stoked to see him rise. Very similar , with jamie blake, who messaged us out of the blue with ‘ Pacific‘ which made me cry. Since sharing his sound, he has joined BLVNT RECORDS, Top Cats & SVNSET WAVES with releases & continues to grow. Just to name a couple, we’ve got so much love and talent surrounding us, more Now than ever.

Question: When was the moment you decided that producing was right for you?
Answer: I’ve always had a big interest in music. It started with metal and hardcore, but being from a small town, there wasn’t really a lot of potential to start a decent band. As I started getting into hip hop and EDM I realized I could make that kind of music by myself.
