Røhaan put up a remix contest for his track ‘Oddity‘ a month ago, open to all artists. The three winners that you’ll be hearing from are a part of phuture’s community, and you can expect to hear more tracks from them on issue seven | SUNRISE, SUNSET & MIDNIGHT.
Without further ado – here is Røhaan ‘s Oddity Remix EP, featuring remixes by chldrns, untitld, & M i s t e r / L
Røhaan – What inspiration went into this track?
chldrns: life may get dark sometimes, just embrace it and make the most out of that darkness. The feel in the original song brought me to make this version of it, giving it more melancholic melodies and an overall gloom.

Røhaan – What inspiration went into this track?
Untitld – So I was inspired by the original track and wanted to keep similar to that style while adding my own taste. I felt an angry/intense vibe listening to the original so while making it I tried to take it in a massive sounding/grimey direction!
I kept the drums similar so it left me room to add my own style to all the leads and atmosphere.

Røhaan – What inspiration went into this track?
M i s t e r / L : So really my first ideas about remixing the track came from the fact that your original was mostly atonal/relied heavy on bass and drums so I immediately thought of making it a melodic track. I made the chords up by listening to your lead in the drop and from there I figured I wanted a nasty bass to fit the “Oddity” tone and ended up with a growly 808 that reminded me of shiz like SLIGHT and LOUD LORD so I “grime-trapped” that shit and that was the result!
