ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: My name is Jared. I just turned 26 and I’ve been making music for a little under 3 years now.

phuture: How did you find out about phuture collective?
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: Through buddies of mine on Soundcloud.

phuture: Where do you live? where do you want to live :)?
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: I live in Ohio and have all my life. Where I’d want to live? Well the way things are going, pretty much anywhere that’s not the US, haha.

phuture: Where do you want music to take you? where do you want to take it?
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: To be honest I’ve always just made music because it makes me happy and in hope that I can make someone else feel some sort of emotion through it. If my music takes me somewhere then that is just a bonus to me.

ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: Most likely some cereal.

phuture: Who’s changing the game right now?
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: I’ve been really digging Rage Logic and Mo’ Vibez lately.

phuture: If your music was an animal or species what would it be?
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: A rabbit. 😉

phuture: Who are 3 of your biggest inspirations?
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: Mr. Carmack, Sam Gellaitry, and Troyboi. I just like how, at least for me when I heard them, it was so different from anything I had heard and I loved the wonkiness of their styles. I instantly loved them.

phuture: When you are dry on inspiration what do you do?
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: All sorts of stuff. Just relax, play video games, go to festivals/shows and just do normal everyday things. I like to let the inspiration come to me. 🙂

phuture: We were so pleased to discover that you have almost 100 tracks for us to peruse on soundcloud. offhand, ‘woes’ & ‘isuisu’ are a couple of our favorites. What are a few of your favorite tracks?
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: Well you picked two of my favorites. I’ve always loved isomers. I just made it so long ago that the mix isn’t all the great. Unfortunately it’s on a broken hard drive but hopefully one day I’ll be able to get it off there and update it a bit. After that probably “i believe”, “sounds that you say”, and “a million mg of dxm”.

phuture: anything you want your current or future fans to know? i.e new releases, album plans, collabs, etc.
ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛs: Well I have TONS of songs that are still private on Soundcloud. No set release date on em but sooner rather than later most likely. Also may or may not be making an EP but I’ma keep the name secret for now ahah.
