What part of the world are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
Greensboro, NC. We’ve got a pretty nifty bluegrass scene I suppose… I see a lot of talent though, and I can point to a handful of friends that I know for a fact are going to do big things in this industry.
What do you eat for breakfast?
Cereal, if I’m lucky.
What DAW do you use? Favorite plugins?
FL. I use either Massive or manipulated percussive samples for almost every lead I ever make. I’ve been really loving the TAL Bitcrusher and Chorus plugins lately as well.
Why do you produce and what keeps you going?
If I couldn’t make music I’m not really sure how I would get myself out of bed in the morning
Where would you go if you were given an all-expenses-paid trip to anywhere in the world?
Oh man that’s tough. I would say Germany, so that I could travel across Europe easily and make the most of my week
Most memorable moment so far on this musical journey?
Probably when my friend’s Robert and Aaron told me that music should be a top priority in my life, because they believed I could actually do something. I never would have even gotten to this point without them, or the countless other people since then that have told me the same thing.
Any unique or interesting talents outside of the music industry?
I like to think I’m pretty handy at Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Who are some up and coming producers that we should check out?
This dude woosta. We just did a release with him. He’s nuts, right up ya’lls alley.
What four songs have been the most influential to where you’ve gotten today?
Oh man that’s so hard. This is the best list I can come up with: Ceremony – Kersed; Trash Talk – Destroy; Mr Carmack – Rock Dem; Cosmo’s Midnight – The Dofflin (Ta-Ku Remix)
What is in store for us to look forward to?
Dook and I are dropping a remix of Premeir Jones’ track Home+ very soon, and it is absolutely ridiculous.
