Phuture: It’s so great to welcome you aboard Phuture Collective, B-Dos. It’s finally official. After months of working for our A&R team and helping us start a Phuture Network label (Always Family), the time has come for your debut on Phuture. Let’s start off with what you had for lunch!
B-Dos: i’ll be real with you, my mom made these weird breakfast balls, with like sausage, bacon, and cheese in them. they’re really really good, so i had like 10 of them.

Phuture: Who are your top 3 biggest inspirations musically?
B-Dos: Sumthin Sumthin, Blake Skowron, and DMVU

Phuture: We started you off on our little baby Presently Lifted & since then have seen you grow and blossom into other labels like Don’t Die At Work, Aunt Molly, Exotic Thinking Network, Below the Surface & more! What pushes you to release on so many like-minded labels?
B-Dos: honestly i just wanna get my music out to as many people as i can. I feel like when i hear a track on a label that i really like, it inspires to make better music and try to deconstruct that and try to get on that label, and that creates a drive for me. I wanna do that for other people. There are so many good artists out there but they dont push themselves to release music consistently.

Phuture: If your music was a three course dinner – what would the courses be?
B-Dos: well…. It would start off with a cute little macaron, then all of a sudden you see the waiter rushing at you like a 300 lb quarterback with a beef tongue in his serving tray, and it ends really abruptly with them slamming the door in your face so you go home and eat an ice cream sandwich in bed.

Phuture: It’s no secret your photoshop skills have been seen by some big guys like UZ, Noer the Boy, EASTGHOST, Weaver Beats & more. Do you see photoshop being a part of your career in the years to come?
B-Dos: as much as i love photoshop i don’t really know how to use it for real art. I kinda just use it as a meme, i’ve made cover art for myself in the past, but i feel like i could definitely leave that part of it to the pros. I can definitely see it making me look cooler cause i can photoshop myself skiing with elon musk or tricking people into thinking i was the first dude on the moon, but sadly i don’t see a good future in that. 🙁

Phuture: How would you describe your music to a deaf person?
B-Dos: in sign language.

Phuture: What kind of goals do you have for the next year?
B-Dos: i wanna try to work on an EP and get bigger label releases like QGR, Good Enuff, and Nest HQ (maybe OWSLA) 🙂

Phuture: We like to end things off by giving you a chance to shoutout 5 artists who will change the game in 2019 – so shoot!
B-Dos: P A T H, yojas., Shockface, Barely Great, and Floret Loret

Phuture: Anything else you want to say before we part ways for now?
B-Dos: i just wanna thank you for everything you’ve done for me. You found me at like 150 followers, and you saw something in me. You wanted to see me grow, and you’ve been helping so much. For anyone reading out there you can do anything. Your dreams are within arms reach, something big that i can’t announce just yet is happening very soon, and i really wanna leave you with that. I want you to know if you put your mind to something you can do it. <3
